The Harmo Pool Twin is a pre-assembled fully automated pH and chlorine dosing equipment pre-mounted on a backplate. The entire machine is controlled by a microprocessor that allows you to digitally read the values of the pool water on a display and adjust dosing / setpoints for both pH – (or pH +) and Chlorine in different languages (Dutch – English – German – French -Spanish – Italian).
The instrument separates addition of acid (base) and chlorine in time: the chemicals are never dosed at the same time. This avoids possible decomposition of liquid Chlorine into gaseous chlorine.
The Pool Twin will approach both pH and Chlorine setpoint in a proportional manner: the closer to the endpoint, the slower the addition.
The Pool Twin is delivered with two rubber 50mm connections, enabling connection in an existing system in a matter of minutes.
Essential characteristics:
- Durable: The materials used are chlorine, acid (sulfuric acid) and base-resistant. This can withstand prolonged exposure to pool water (even with salt for salt electrolysis). The metering devices are not suitable for use with hydrochloric acid (HCl).
- Simple operation: The unit is very handy to operate: Turn it on and adjust desired pH (acid) or redox value (chlorine).
- Low cost: The operating cost is very low, because with proper use it swimming pool water never becomes green.
To install the Pool Twin: fix the Pool Twin back plate to the wall, cut the water return to the pool in two, so that you can connect is to the Pool Twin’s in- and outlet. As the acid/chlorine addition points and the electrode measurement probes are already mounted to the system, there is nothing more to do than to start-up.
How does the Pool Twin work?
The Pool Twin is connected to the filter pump. As soon as the filter pump operates, the instrument starts reading and displaying pH and Redox (a measurement for Chlorine content). As soon as one of these values is below setpoint, the instrument starts adjusting by pumping acid or chlorine into the swimming pool water. When the setpoint is reached, addition is stopped.

How to use in each stage of the year?
Harmopool.eu provides manual for all products that precisely defines the steps the consumer need to know. At the same time, a few additional tips can be useful:
- Before calibrating during the season, thoroughly rinse the probes with pure water to keep it clean (3 times per year is more than enough)
- If the calibration is correct, the values are the followings: pH = 7.0 ± 0.1. Redox = 468 ± 10mV
- During the winter, pump, filter and dosing equipment should be stored in dry and warm conditions (electrodes must be stored in KCl storage fluid)
